History

First of all, I and my Wife would like to share our history and vision for the ministry.   In July1985 I was born again converted to serve the Lord. Before I was baptized in water God used me to share and preach the gospel in our area.  In 1986 January, was my water baptism and I was appointed as youth president in our local church in my home place Aloja, Batuan, Bohol, in One Way Outreach International, Inc.. In June the same year I went to Mindanao to find a work to help my Father to support my younger brothers and sisters, that year we were yet 10 children all, but now we are all  12 and I am the eldest.

Here in Mindanao particularly in Bukidnon, I joined in the Anchor Bay Evangelistic Church, where our Pastor appointed me to lead the young people two months later, it was here that I got the vision to become a leader and pastor, but I ignored it when I remembered my parents in Bohol

In last week of December 1986, before the Youth Conference that I did not plan to attend, I slept so deeply because of the cool caused by the rain that night; but I woke up twice because of my two dreams. My first dream was, I was standing in the middle of the great and wide rice field ready for harvest with only six people doing the harvest, and all of the six men had their sickles but I have nothing. I wanted to help but I can do nothing and I was moved to weep having the compassion for the great white harvest thinking how the six people could finish the very wide harvest before it falls and corrupts that caused me to wake up.   I know it’s in the Bible in Matthew 9:37-38.  It was still in the middle of the night I slept again and another dream woke me up. I was standing in the river with knee level water catching plenty of fishes using only my hands until I was able to catch a leg size fish that I used my strength to catch it that caused me to wake up again.   Again I remembered that it is in the Bible Jesus said fisher of men.

In the morning was the first day of the youth conference that I decided to attend and I rushed to prepare and went to the conference where I met the two Bible School students with whom I decided to go with them when they go back to the Bible School.

On the first week of January 1987 I left my work and decided to go to the Bible School without any promised financial support, it was purely by faith that in my first year I have no blanket, mat and mosquito net, I only slept beside my friend without blanket and pillow for two semesters. God is faithful; I survived as self supporting and working Student until I graduated.

I met my wife in the Bible school; we are classmates since freshmen until we graduated. We got married in 1991. We pastored under the Anchored Bay Church until the birth of our eldest Son in December 1992. Six months we did not hold a church because I have to work to support the need of our baby because the church was not able to support us and that was the reason that we leave the church.

In July 1993, we wanted to   Pastor a church but no vacant church for pastor under the Anchor Bay Evangelistic Church. So we decided to take a semi pioneering church where we are now with only 12 people at the time, having the gathering in a rented lot with a one for all small house building. One for all because it was our kitchen , our dining room , our rest room and a worship center just only 10x12 feet. We slept in the cement floor for nine years of course we placed a cartoon before the mat, when we have visitors they will slept with us on the floor together.  Because the church cannot support us we had a small sideline to support our needs and the ministry.

Two years later, we were able to build a 18x28 feet church building in a rented lot owned by a Bank, we grew to more than 40 indigenous members. In 1999, we were able to purchase a 10x15 meters church lot for 25,000 pesos payable for one year.  In year 2002, we were forced to get out from the rented lot because it was sold to the PETRON for Gasoline Station.  So we looked for a house for us to stay and a place of worship while building a new church in our lot. We have no money for new Church building, what we did was all members contributed and solicited to build even a small building and God was providing our needs within more than one year the Church building was used for our Sunday services which is the building we have now.

From 1993, we had the license from an independent organization which gave us the freedom to be autonomous ministry, and in 2003 we asked the permission together with the members to be fully independent.

In 1998, we have another ministry with different ministers from different denominations that I become the president for eight years to the present. This ministry is to encourage and lift up the indigenous and discouraged Pastors. Because most of us came from Anchor Bay Evangelistic Association, in the Philippines, Inc., we named it Anchored In Jesus Evangelistic Association, Inc. We have now more than 20 Pastors and ministers under this Ministry.

Our church and ministry is an independent and none-denominational ministry and maybe this year we will be registered in Security and Exchange Commission.  We have now six Disciples and one tribal established Church and two Children Outreaches, Bible studies and cell groups and we are doing Crusades once in every quarter; we have now 105 members including children in our congregation.
